Baltimore's population is dwindling, according to the latest U.S. census data. The latest U.S. census numbers from April 2010 to July 2016 showed close to 7,000 people -- many of them African-American -- packed up and left the city. According to the census, Baltimore City now has the same population it had close to 100 years ago. The latest census estimates showed more people moved out of Baltimore City than any other jurisdiction from 2015-2016.
